Cartoon Chair-man
I spent a fair amount of time at the drawing board and at the computer, and lately I’ve noticed that as I unfold my 6’4″ frame from the $50 desk chair that I use as both locations, that my back is really starting to hurt.
So I decided to splurge a bit and get myself some new sittin’ stuff!
Here’s the new desk chair…
(Word on the street is that my productivity should go up 17.8% after plunkin’ down my heinie!)
And here’s the new drawing table stool…
Is that funky or what?! (BTW, mine is gonna be orange! Hoo-hoo!)
Anyway, the ol’ back is already looking forward to its comfy new digs!

My Office – One Year Later
About a year ago I blogged about the office I got when we bought new new house.
I got a lot of grief about how clean it was, so I thought, one year later, I’d give you another look:

All in all, a respectable amount of clutter, without being overrun. Not too bad.

Pics Around the House
I was working on sending out paks of cartoons today, as well as sending out some Ebay stuff, drawing new cartoons, and working on an elaborate hobo illustration. So, neatnik that I am, I thought a shot of my desk at its worst might be interesting:
I even thought this picture of our dog, Satchel, posing pretzel-like, might be the pic of the day:
But then, while playing with my son in his room, there was a rather loud noise, and something big sliding quickly down his window. I ran downstairs to find this in the back yard:
OK, not a huge deal, but I just paid a boatload to have a giant willow taken down after a big storm. Why do my trees all hate me?!
Pretty good, but, the pic of the day has to be this:
What is it, you ask? My wife is a wonderful baker, and baked two loaves of cinnamon swirl break from scratch this afternoon. This is the dough, freshly risen. (It’s covered in saran wrap.)
