I spent a fair amount of time at the drawing board and at the computer, and lately I’ve noticed that as I unfold my 6’4″ frame from the $50 desk chair that I use as both locations, that my back is really starting to hurt.
So I decided to splurge a bit and get myself some new sittin’ stuff!
Here’s the new desk chair…
(Word on the street is that my productivity should go up 17.8% after plunkin’ down my heinie!)
And here’s the new drawing table stool…
Is that funky or what?! (BTW, mine is gonna be orange! Hoo-hoo!)
Anyway, the ol’ back is already looking forward to its comfy new digs!

If your keester is in a fancy schmancy chair like that, you shouldn't be drawing some steenking cartoons, man — you should be commanding a starship!
My chiropractor recommended the Swopper, (it's at my drawing board and it's fantastic.) The other Steelcase chair you selected looks great, too. (I have a Herman Miller Aeron at my computer desk). The bottom line is that after a year of painful moments, my back is almost as pliable as Gumby's now. (Heck I could even ride 'Pokey' throught he desert now if I had to.) Hope you find the same results.
