Once upon a time, there were tons of great story cartoons here at Andertoons. The end.

The cartoon blog of Andertoons cartoonist Mark Anderson. He discusses his cartoons, cartooning, comics and, oddly enough, LEGO.

So yesterday I smoked, grilled and, I guess, roasted 6 pounds of beef brisket. Yum!
First the rub:
Then smoking and grilling for 3 hours:
Then some sauce:
Then four hours in the oven:
Then a little time to sit:
Then dinner!
I don’t know a whole lot about Archie comics, but I’m pretty sure they used to do stuff like this where people would write in with outfit suggestions. (Anyone know more about this?)
Anyway, this obviously isn’t from that era, but Shane Glines‘ Josie below is so good, I had to take a second look initially.
Enjoy:
Shane is one of those artists I just adore and would give my left arm to draw like. (I’d give my right, but that’s me drawin’ arm dontcha know.)
io9 is one of my favorite blogs. There’s lots of sci-fi, comics, tech, and just the right amount of humor and snark.
Anyway, every few weeks they host a tweetup where participants simultaneously watch a movie and tweet their thoughts en masse.
So Monday night I grabbed my laptop, started up Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow, and tweeted to my hearts content.
You can see the whole mess here, or see the best tweets (including some of mine) here.
FUN!
