That's sick… you're as big of a nerd as I am hahahaha
I still watch Scrubs because I was a fan already, but the show now has taken a turn that I don't know if I like as much and I'm not sure if you've noticed it. JD used to daydream… that's where all the crazy cartoonish stuff happened – I loved it; it was smart writing because it still let you connect with what was "actually" happening while get the humor that everyone thinks about in short spurts in their head… I connected with that, you know? Now, all that crazy stuff is happening in "reality"! It's not in his head anymore. I don't know, it just bothers me.
But Heroes… I didn't like it in the beginning because I thought it was a little campy… it was kind of a novelty made into a show but it didn't feel like it really had the story depth to it that comics books do (or did anyway… they're starting to get better now again). But now I'm hooked after watching a few episodes.
It's always fun to see these lists, and I wrote down my own list for myself.
BATTLESTAR GALACTICA is a great show, and has caught the attention of a large, non-nerdy audience. I think it's as ground-breaking as the original TREK was.
All of the books I've recently read/are reading are comics-related (MY CAT LOVES ME NAKED, MEN OF TOMORROW). I like this, but should seek out more subjects.
The http://www.cartoonretro.com/ blog by Shane Glines is worth subscribing to. It's $5 a month for some great magazine illustration and cartoon art from the 1940s-50s. Ditto Leif Peng's http://todaysinspiration.blogspot.com/ , which is a free site.
But, when I got to Podcasts, Radio and Games — I had to write None, None, None.
R.O. – Check out the Scrubs Peanuts Christmas Special! And I have to agree with you – I think Scrubs isn't as good as it was, although, even at that level, it's still better than most sitcoms out there.
Mikey – I've seen CartoonRetro around, but never made the leap…. Maybe for Christmas…
Hey, where's your favorite TV movie: MOTHER, MAY I SLEEP WITH DANGER? starring your dream-squeeze girl Tori Spelling?!?!
OK, I acutally went to Lifetime's site and found another winner: "The Babysitter's Seduction" starring Keri Russell and Phylicia Rashad. That's right, Clarie vs. Felicity!
