Lately I’ve noticed everyone’s favorite cartoon website coming up a little slowly.
I was content to chalk it up to a lousy connection on my part, but I started hearing complaints from folks and I finally had my web guys look into it.
The culprit? The cartoon ratings system.
Apparently the feature has proved so popular that it’s slowing down the entire database, and thusly, the load time for the site.
Anyway, never fear, a fix is in the works and it should resolve itself in a few days. meanwhile, get yourself a coffee while the site loads, or bond with your children or something. Think of it as a little gift of quiet time from me.
