My 6-year-old son, commonly referred to here as "The Boy," recently absconded with my copy of inky pal Mike Lynch’s Cartooning Basics, and I doubt I’ll ever see the book again.

OK, so it’s my birthday today. And for anyone who’s counting, I’m 39.
