Hey, my brother-in-ink, Mike Lynch, has a new book out – Murray the Bird, the Angriest Bird in the Pet Shop!
Apparently it sold like hotcakes at MeCAF this weekend, so you might want to grab yours before they’re all gone. (I made sure to order mine before posting this.)
I was checking out a new collectibles shop nearby the other day (Patrol Dewback, I’ll be back!) when I stumbled on the first issue of Pizzazz by Marvel.
There’s a ton of fun stuff in it, but I thought I’d share just a few of my favorite pages:

Inky pal Adrian Sinnott let me know that he’s published his first iBook, A Boy and His Sog!, and asked if I’d take a look at it.
I loved it! Great art, great story, just great! But since I’m not totally unbiased, I thought I’d also share it with my 6-year-old daughter and ask her to review it. Here’s what she wrote (with some capitalization and punctuation help from her dad):
My favorite part of this book is the first page. I like the way the pet looks.
I like the part where all the boy’s friends are running away in horror. I also like that the boy’s dad is a mad scientist. I like how funny the pictures look. It made me laugh. I like how I am able to read it on the iPad. I would like to see more books like this.
