Got one in Forbes this month too.
What’s funny about Forbes, is that my editor always says “Steve would like to use this one for the next issue.” So apparently Steve Forbes actually does the cartoon picking. Isn’t that crazy?!
I always feel like saying “well… OK. But only because it’s Steve.”
I know Hef picks the cartoons too with an assistant. Weird, no?
With all these guys have going on, they take the time to pick cartoons. I’d like to think that that speaks well of my profession.
Almost forgot, here’s the cartoon…

It’s been a while since I had a twofer in GH! Hooray!
Here’s #1, and here’s #2. Enjoy!
(BTW, you can also see the covers/inside pages over in my Flickr stuff.)

OK, I need some help here.
I’m working on a cartoon centering around a chocolate bar (I’ll explain more later) and I wanna run some of these past you:
1) Chocolate bar behind desk to another sitting across from him – “I’m sorry, we’re looking for someone with almonds.”
2) Man sitting at bar to giant chocolate bar next to him – “Whereabouts in Pennsylvania?”
3) Chocolate bar tied in chair to chocolate bar mobsters (one has a pot) – “Not the double boiler! I’ll talk! I’ll talk!”
Whatcha think? I’m kinda partial to the second one, but I’m worried it may be too subtle.
Any strong opinions on any of them?
