OK, I have a lot going on, and I probably didn’t need to throw a new logo for myself on top of it, but honestly, creating it was kinda soothing.
And now, without further adieu…
So whatcha think?
I wanted something that really said gag cartoon and I think I got it.
My wife came up with the torn look, and, thanks to various web tutorials, I got the wrap & column effects. The dummy text was generated by Lipsum.com, which also has some really cool info on the history of this kind of thing.
What I find most interesting about the end product is that is doesn’t actually include any of my artwork, which, as my style continues to evolve, is actually a good thing I think.
Anyway, for those of you lucky enough to get emails, mailings or invoices from me, hope you like the new look.
(BTW, I tried a couple of logo creation sites featured in Wired first. A little advice; don’t waste your time.)
