Therapeutic Computer Cartoons

Considering what a crazy week it’s been here, I thought I’d share some of my computer cartoons. (For those of you just ‘tooning’ in, my hard drive went belly up earlier this week and we’ve been struggling to get things back to some semblance of order ever since.)

Here’s a computer cartoon that normally wouldn’t resonate with me so much (technology and I usually get along), but this week I’d have loved nothing more than to clobber that hard drive! If fact, if the data recovery goes well and everything gets transferred successfully to the new drive, I’m thinking of going ‘Office Space’ on the bad one! (I wonder if the IRS will allow a baseball bat as a write-off…)

This computer cartoon pretty much sums up my wife and her relationship with technology. Don’t get me wrong, she’s an incredibly intelligent woman, but I seem to have inherited a stronger tech gene.

Maybe I need to buy the software in this computer cartoon!

Anyway, keep your fingers crossed that I can recover that data. Otherwise I’m looking at recreating about two weeks of work. Ugh!

Oh! One more thing! Be sure to check in on Monday when our ‘Inside the Cartoonist’s Studio’ guest will be “Zippy the Pinhead”’s Bill Griffith!
