Wisconsin Public Radio has posted an interview with Chris Ware, author of the critically acclaimed graphic novel “Jimmy Corrigan: The Smartest Kid on Earth”.
OK, I’ll be honest. I’ve tried to read the book twice, and each time I couldn’t get past the first quarter or so of the book. I’m not saying it’s not good, it’s just not my taste perhaps. Maybe I need to break out of the cartoon box I’ve built for myself and really try to understand it, but to be honest, trying to get my head around my own cartoons is usually hard enough.
